Plot Twist Peru - Decaf

Spoiler alert. She is drinking decaf.

Nobody saw it coming. Not her followers. Not her group chat. Not the algorithm. Definitely not her. She picked it up looking like the most caffeinated, most content, most chronically online version of herself and then — plot twist — zero caffeine. Surprise. The twist was in the cup the whole time.

Is she okay? Honestly, she doesn't know yet. She has been a coffee person her whole life. A real coffee person. The kind who judges decaf drinkers a little bit from a place of complete misunderstanding. And now here she is. One of them. Because her body had a whole conversation with her that she did not ask for and the doctor said some things and her anxiety said some things and her heart palpitations said some things and the bottom line is she is drinking decaf now and she is processing it.

Plot Twist Peru Decaf is medium roast with smooth caramel and a bright citrus finish that tastes exactly like the real thing because it basically is the real thing except for the one part that she is grieving quietly. All the ritual. All the warmth. All the comfort of her morning cup. None of the caffeine that made it feel like hers.

She did not choose this plot twist. But she is a main character and main characters adapt.
