For Better or For Brew

Another year. You did it again.

You chose each other on the good days and the bad days and the days that were so ordinary you almost forgot to notice them. You navigated the dishwasher argument and the we need to talk conversation and the phase where you were both so tired you communicated mostly in sighs. You saw each other at your absolute worst — before coffee, after a long week, in the middle of a disagreement that started about something small and somehow became about everything — and you showed up anyway.

That is not nothing. That is actually EVERYTHING.

For Better or For Brew is for the couple that keeps choosing each other. Not the fairy tale version. The REAL version — the one that is smooth and sweet and dependable and occasionally requires a lot of patience and a really good cup of coffee to get through the morning WITHOUT saying the thing.

Love is not always fireworks and grand gestures. Sometimes love is knowing exactly how they take their coffee and making it without being asked. Sometimes it is the inside joke nobody else gets. Sometimes it is just still being here after everything and meaning it.

Smooth, sweet, and dependably good — just like the person sitting across from you who is somehow STILL your favorite even when they are a lot.

ESPECIALLY when they are a lot.
